This baseline explains the categories and purposes anticipated by the platform. It is not a substitute for an approved notice naming the final legal entity, registration details and privacy contact.

Foundation-stage information

Ubuntu Gale is still establishing its legal, governance and operating foundations. This page describes the approved build baseline and intended operating model; it does not claim completed delivery, confirmed partners or final legal status.

Information the platform may collect

Account and contact details, organisation information, application content, programme participation, volunteer or partner information, consent records, communications, security events and limited device or usage data.

Why information is used

To assess requests, manage programmes and relationships, communicate, protect the service, meet legal or funding duties, evaluate outcomes and improve delivery. A purpose and lawful basis must be recorded before operational processing.

Who may receive information

Authorised Ubuntu Gale staff and approved processors; reviewers or delivery partners only where necessary and controlled; legal or safeguarding authorities where required. Public publication requires a separate basis and verification.

Retention and rights

Retention will follow approved schedules. Depending on applicable law, individuals may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability. Identity and legal exceptions may need verification.

Sensitive information

Applicant, beneficiary, child, safeguarding, health and financial information receives restricted access. The public website will not expose private files or application records.
